Ok, finished delocking the cally with some vectra doorhandles, removed locks and taped up microswitches, problem is I caught one of the switches and car now thinks it is deadlocked and alarm keeps going off every time I open a door. Tried to press again but wont unlock/turn off alarm, what am I doing wrong? Got alarm module in footwell, which wire needs positive/negative pulse to turn off the alarm and turn off deadlocks????? Supposed to be going out in car tomorrow, no chance unless I can sort this problem out tho!!!! Someone pleeeaaassseee help meee, driving me mad!!!!! Thanks guys Mark.

If I ground unlock wire on microswitch, will it turn off standard security alarm/deadlocks?

Right, nearly there, looks like I have damaged the locking relay. Am I right in thinking the lock/unlock wires should be live and the alarm will pulse them with a negative pulse to lock/unlock the doors. If so I can take 2xlive feeds to each of lock/unlock and all will be good. This means door motors will be working as slave instead of in factory system through locking relay. I have disconnected all standard alarm multiplug and fitted complete system which has turned into an epic. AND ALL BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT DOOR HANDLES ON MY CALLY!!!!!!!!

Apparently If you use your screwdriver to force the handle out of the door you can gain entry. Although you will leave a massive hole i doubt that the car thief is bothered about that.

Anyway i wouldn't of put a Calibra high up in the at risk stakes, what about all those modern Astra Turbo's waiting to be stolen?

Well said! The car could be locked up to the hilt with allsorts but until they make brick-proof glass, its irrelevant.

They do, it just costs loads and is unsightly with all the wire reinforcement in it.

actually if your windows have after market tint film applied to them they'll be pretty tough to get thorugh

de-locked handles look better in my opinion and you can colour code them to your car, and if the battery goes dead there's always the boot

well i learnd the hard way...lol

i have no boot lock and de locked handles and the battery went dead so needed to call mr AA man out to get it open

so i will now be tacking a feed from the battery and putting it some where i can get access to with jump leads if this EVER happens again.....lol
