Dodgy tyre wear

I've got some wierd tyre wear. Had the tracking checked and its spot on.
The wear is on the front tyres. Front drivers side, inner edge wear and front passengers side, outer edge wear.
I assume its got to be the shock or spring or both. Or can it be anything else?
Please help.

bounce all corners to check the shocks, if they're ok and the springs arnt visibly broken, and a decent 4x4 lazer alignment shows it to be well within spec.. its just your roundabout driving.. hard right handers forcing it onto the outer edge.. what are the actual tread measurements? what sort of difference are we on about? obviously the outer edges are usually less than the middle section.. so measure both outer edges of the tyre to compare them.

Went to Masterfit and tried to blame them for the wear on the tyres (even though I know its not their fault
) They rechecked the alignment and said it was fine (as I already knew they would
) So then I asked what was causing the wear?
They checked everything and said;
1. Driver side lower arm. The rubber bits are very soft.
2. Front driver shock absorber. Could be bent but looks fine.
3. Front springs. Both fine.
4. Front shock top mount and bearing. Could be the most likely cause.
I 've ordered a pair of front shock top mounts and bearings. Can anyone tell me how to change these.
Many thanks for your help so far.
