I was going to get the roof panel flocked instead of re-lining it, removes the chance of sagging lining in the future

It's called VHT vinyl dye. I got it from my local car auto retail shop.
Used for fabrics and vinyl re-colouring.
What do you mean by "flocking"
It's a process where they literally spray a velour effect finish to surfaces
You can choose how deep the pile is
They use it a lot on race cars on interior trim to cut down glare but you can literally have anything flocked
This is the guy I had recommended to me

Cool, well they say you learn something new all the time.
For now I've just pulled off the lining and it's given it the suede look. And it's better than the sagging lining. I can live with it!.. For now Hahaha

Photo Update!
I have been meaning to update this thread for a while. A few goodies to catch you all up on but to start with I present:
My cali with her custom DIY Angel eyes.
They are COB LED rings and I have hooked them up to a wireless controller so i can turn them on/off and strobe/flash with varying speeds and patterns.
I gutted my old aftermarket angel eye headlights and only kept the clear lenses.
I then installed the rings to the parker wiring of my stock headlights and replaced the stock lens with the clear lens and voila here we go!
Part of the reason for the whole shenanigans is the sonar angel eye projectors are s**t house and the halos were lit by the ******* smallest x2 led's so during the day time you couldn't see them at all. Now, no problems hahah
Better photos to come soon!

Cheers for reading and more to update in the coming week!

Photo Update!
Just yesterday I treated my cali to new shoes.
-18" Motovatr Rims
(2nd hand off an MCM friend.. A temporary till I save up for a really nice set of 18's one day. The more I look at these rims though the more I fall in love with them)
Here are some photos of the progression of the rims on my cali.
Photo 1: Stock 15" Calibra rims

Photo 2: Next I had some 2nd hand ROH 17" rims (A desperate set to get just anything bigger than the 15" stocks. Had them for bit over a year)

Photo 3: Motovatr 18" rims (the rims she sits on now!)

The wheels looks good, but you need more rubber...
What size tyres are they? They look a bit too small, to me...

Thanks Eddey,
yessir the whole set are low profile tyres that came with the rims. Eventually I will replace the set.
They are 215, 35 R18
I hope to go to 225 45 R18 maybe one day

Don't fit 225's on the front... They'll rub on the inner arch trims...
From my experience, the 215/40 R18 on the front, is the ideal size...
For the rear, 235/40 R18 look great, and close up the arch gap, really well...
I hope to roll the arches, and fit 245's on the rear some day...

From experience I know that the 215 is pushing it like you say the outer arch may scrape as for a week my front left scraped and then out of the blue stopped scraping on the lining on its own.
I'll probably end up getting the same tyres front and rear so I can rotate tyres to maximise chronic tread wear.
Re: SAMARAI's 1995 Opel Calibra 16v Ecotec ;)
So sadly this happened! :C

So basically I managed to lose control of the car heading to work one Saturday morning in the hills and I managed to mount this dirt wall on all 4 tyres which had a rock ledge as seen in the next photo.

Taking the half torn bumper off, it turned out I had managed lower chassis damage and from the landing had bent the suspension/strut/control arm and bent all the radiator supports and everything. Engine turned over and all was fine but basically the front right tyre was resting against the guard and was basically burning rubber as I limped it to safety where I towed it home.

It was very saddening to see my cali broken like this but im moreso glad that I live to tell the tale. I was quite close to rolling the car and if it happened a little ways down the road I may have landed myself at the bottom of a cliff.
My cali was about a week later announced as un-repairable write off. RIP.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My first thought was ok now I can try something new. I contemplated many different model cars but In the end I managed to convince myself to get another calibra.

Not my first choice in colour but glad to have a donor cali. Currently am in the process of putting all the best bits into the new cali.

a shame this has happened to your calibra, but as you said you walked away from it thats the main thing
and theres nothing wrong with red calibra's by the way

BETTER TO HAVE A CALIBRA AND NOT NEED ONE, THAN NEED A CALIBRA AND NOT HAVE ONE!!!
