advice on possible mods

Hello guys and girls, just after a bit of advice on what to do with my calibra. At the end of this year/beginning of next I want to change the shocks/springs and bushes and was thinking about bilstien shocks with a set of lowering springs and full poly bush kit, but thinking 10/20 years down the line when hopefully the prices of calibras will have risen would those mods effect the price of my calibra making it less desirable than a standard calibra? My question is what would you lot do in my position, do I fit the mods I have mentioned or just fit new standard Vauxhall suspension and bushes and keep it as standard as possible? Cheers.

i would do the billy's and lowered springs H&R are good i wouldnt do poly bushes they are very hard i would just put in new std bushes back in, shocks and springs with new bushes will make it drive like new and wont lower the value poly bushes will shack the car to bits in the long run

I was advised to stay away from the poly bushes unless using the car on the track and as this is a every day car I would go with stock Mark but still lower it and keep the stranded springs you can always change them back

Poly bushes are definetly not for road use.Maybe ok for the back of the car
but at the front it was like driving on bricks,so I put the front back to standard.

I had this problem on mine with poly bushes all round. Changed from the cheap springs i had put(GMax) on to H&R's and the car drives as normal as the springs are more progressive in their action

Thanks for all your input guys, so think I will go with bilstiens B4s? H&R springs and standard new Vauxhall bushes, with maybe poly bush rear camber adjustment bushes due to the fact it will be lowered 30/40mm all round.
