Yep that sounds about right mate. And I'm still amazed it's a direct fit. No alterations needed. Albeit mine I didn't fuss with finding vectra handles with key holes since I have central locking!
Re: SAMARAI's 1995 Opel Calibra 16v Ecotec ;)
me to alarm with central locking.

Usually I prefer them to be discrete, but this time, I say that the Tinted one suits better...
I hope you fitted the rubber gaskets...

I wanted to fit the gaskets but they weren't 100% correct fit so it stuck out at an angle and also aged the car. I left without
Re: SAMARAI's 1995 Opel Calibra 16v Ecotec ;)
Last night I connected some LED strips to the bonnet light because the bonnet light location limited light to the dip stick insertion hole when re inserting the rod.
Much better now!

Cheers big ears!
Simple, but effective

My mighty mod of the night,
Middle sun visor for the few frustrating times when the driver and passenger visors can't block around the rear view mirror.
Inspired from my merc that has one! Donated from a merc from U-pull-it!

Photo Update!
Howdy fellow calibra club.net fans. Here's my latest update on mods.
-Factory Halogen boot brake light swap to Astra G LED brake light.
-Interior trim swap from cream to black
-Installed a switch to my custom fitted projectors in the blank fog light spots in my headlights
-Also installed a Merc w124 middle sunvisor. (Inspired from my own w124 merc)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Long story short, the factory eye level boot brake light had 4 halogen globes illuminating the red lens. A bulb blew and once I found they were halogen bulbs I went for an LED alternative. Turns out the Astra G brake light strip fit in perfectly. Winning!

AFTER

(My phone couldn't focus properly because the LED strip is so bright. But now I really feel it modernises the car very subtly over the dated looking factory 4 halogen bulb setup)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next up was the interior trim swap that I was had to put off for about 5 months because I have been so busy but Im so glad I got round to it.
The cream upper half of the interior really looked out of place against the black of the dash and darker grey of the seats. I managed to luckily find a full set of black trim at my local u-pull-it from an earlier model calibra.

Now the earlier model calibras ofcourse, had matching black visors but didn't have the vanity mirrors or lights in them from what I can gather. From that I can tell, only the later post facelift model calibra sun visors however did, and since I didn't want to lose the lights in my visors I decided to die my visors black/charcoal to match my recent interior trim swap. Stoked with the results!!

If you notice I also have installed a w124 Mercedes Benz middle sun visor. Inspired from my own merc, I decided it may come in handy to have this as sometimes the pesky sun still manages to blind you from between both the passenger and drivers visors even if they are both down. I just cut the foam visor to fit and screwed it into the headliner. DIY ftw!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally I got round to installing a switch to operate my custom fitted projectors which I fitted to the blank front fog light spots in my headlights.

Bottom whiter beam (5000k HID's with flat cut off)
Top bluer beam (Diamond Vision halogen bulbs I had lying around)
Turns out im fairly certain my mate and I installed the custom projectors upside down... oooops! so I have to get round to turning them the right way around and hopefully order some HID's for them also. I want to run them as DRL's for daytime driving safety!

As she stands!
I'm going to leave you with a few photos from the other night.
Cheers for reading. Feel free to leave thoughts and feed back

Nice work, I'm about to convert my upper interior trim to black so interested in your progress
What paint did you use to spray the sun visors etc?
Are you changing the headlining to black too?

Thanks buddy!
Wasn't too hard to do at all. Trickiest part was installing the new black trim. Some of the metal clips were so annoying haha
I used a vinyl re-colour/die spray. Worked like a charm.
Yeah if I can get round to changing the headlining I'd go with black as well to give it that uniform look

I need to get me some of that spray then, got a linky?
I was going to get the roof panel flocked instead of re-lining it, removes the chance of sagging lining in the future

It's called VHT vinyl dye. I got it from my local car auto retail shop.
Used for fabrics and vinyl re-colouring.
What do you mean by "flocking" mate?

Thanks man, the middle visor mod to be different and for those few times the sun manages to annoy me when the driver and passenger visors miss the sun between.
Hahaa yeah definitely the beige made it look a bit old man spec haha.
Yes the cloth seats and pattern isn't too bad hey
