How many

How many of the regulars on here are selling on their Calibras. I must admit I have been thinking about selling mine since I got the Vectra VXR but have decided I would keep it off the road for now and try and get it ready for next years shows, I would be gutted to get rid as I have always wanted an SE2 but having had to use it as my everyday car repairs have always been rushed to get it back on the road. Now I can take my time and do the work without rushing and hopefully restore it to almost its former glory.

I am in the same boat as you. I always wanted a DTM Turbo and now i have it and i won't be using it everyday so it can hopefully be returned to factory new condition.

Not exactly a regular on here but had my calibra for 13 years now.

I am putting it back on the road next month to enjoy one last year then probably selling it on.
I know it is hardly worth anything but the sentimental value is through the roof.

If I had the garage space I would be keeping it but I havn't.
The time has come to purchase a new toy.

Can't see me getting rid of it any time soon, like a few members on here I've just got to much money invested in it now to let it go. Plus its nice to take her out and see a car thats over 16yrs old still turning heads

How many

If anything I'm accumulating Calibras not selling them having just bought another V6
As Ally says there's too much time, effort, heartache and expense poured into them that you would never get back if you sold it
That is especially true on here where the average standard of car is stunning
If peeps really have to sell them on then we should try to keep them in the club so we can keep an eye on them ! Lol
They still turn heads as opposed to a lot of modern cars that just turn stomachs! and haven't really aged style wise IMO

Same here...I don't need to sell it. I can afford to keep as a second car if I want. I too have invested a lot of money over nearly 10yrs of ownership.

Its not worth a fortune and would gut me to see someone else driving her around.

They do still turn heads tastefully modded or in original spec...and receive comments if kept in tip top condition...mine has a few times.

I will be looking for a little daily runabout shortly...and will be having more work done on my Cally next year (kit removed - refitted and sprayed)...

I retire in 2016 and will decide weather to get my Monaro VXR...I will still have the Cally.

Its reassuring to see so many deciding to keep their callys, me included, too much blood spilt on this one literally lol.

I thought about breaking her up at one point, glad I didn't. I think it was the respray that brought the love back, she looked all shiney and fresh. Couldn't help but put more time into her.

I've seen a black Vectra VXR that I really like, I don't think the owner would mind swapping for my pink Se9.... Not that he has a choice :P.

Just joking, I think I'll keep it till it goes bang :).
