Some very exciting things have happened since I last updated you all on here.

Firstly I've completed my White
led light speedo and switches upgrade. Much much better than the stock dull orange.

I've also put some more lighting around the car.
So as it stands: LED Strips in the front and rear footwells, under the ashtray, around the ignition barrel, in the door cards and also under the door card sills.

I've hooked these all up so that when the doors are swung open, the lights come on and turn off again when the doors have been shut.
Love the attention I get at night when the under of my doors light up. I had one guy in a commodore with a priceless expression the other night at a maccas carpark! lol
Gives me a smile everytime I see my cabin and doors light up! Love it!

Next on the cards is a set of Angel eyes and a black roof.

First I'll be ordering the Angel eyes (Approx in the next 24hrs) getting excited for the new look.

The black vinyl roof is an experiment. If I like it, it stays. If I don't too easy.. the Vinyl peels off :P

Thats all for now folks just a bit of an update!

Cheers

Awesome modifications man.. Thanks for updating thread with these wonderful pics.. Lot to learn from you:)

Yeah I have seen these projectors come up many times in my google searches since I've been looking for parts for my cali.
I considered it once long ago but decided against it since most people here don't know what Opel is and it would also mean drilling into the door cards :/ ouch

Although a great idea these projectors, I used the concept and just put an LED strip underneath the door cards and the effect I love it.. lights up the road and gives it wow factor everytime a passenger opens the door :P

Lot to learn from me? oh wow mate I appreciate you saying that man. What can I say, I learn from experience as this is my first real car I've been tinkering with. I love making it my own!

Cheers amigo.

You'll love the white led switches upgrade. It really freshens up the whole car at night. I could never go back to stock orange. They are too dull.

I want to order brighter leds for dash too. The ones I have currently are good. Any brighter and I'll start clapping and dancing xD

Photo Update!

My new Headlight "Evil eye" mock up just to see how a bonnet extension would cover the headlights.

Photo Update

Tonight I had some spare cabling and LED strips lying around so I thought I'dd add some more lighting to the boot. As stock the one bulb design in the back really doesn't give a bright enough output spread light even with my LED strip in that. So onto wiring up two more on each side of the boot.

Much much better now and can do the night time boot shenanigans like sorting through tools in the tool box much easier! :P
