Another year

Passed the MOT today but had to have the cat replaced as it failed on that again .
My car eats cats thats 4 in 7 years doesnt matter if i put cheap or expensive ones on it. Last one lasted an incredible 3 years.

I will have had my calibra 11 years this may,and ive never had to put a new cat on it yet!

When i sold my SE 7 years ago it still had the original cat on it

I took my original cat off to put the replacer on, and stored the cat for 11 months of the year in a damp garage, refitted for MOT and it passed emissions every time.....i have had to scrap it now as the flanges have rusted to nowt.

If your car eats cats, there must be something either amiss with the engine or it's what youre doing with them?
