Into the body shop monday!

Well cally goes away to be pampered for a week in the body shop on monday. Have had people say why bother shes 17yrs old ....Ok.. that she may be but, shes been a great car never let me down ,shes in great condition even now, and shes a true classic, look once shes done ,, i will be adding a rear tailgate spoiler
dark lexus rear lights ands dark angel headlights. For me and wifey, shes worth it like one of the family ....well.. she is

Great stuff mate.

I've owned my calibra for probably over 10 years now and honestly I can't remember it ever letting me down. Other than being stranded miles from home because of a crappy dead battery.

I had mine back in the Bodyshop the other year and spend about £500 on it plus spent few hundred on new brakes (yet to be fitted) and that's pennies compared to some of the guys on here.

Some things are just worth it!

Make sure you take the bumpers,bottom trim and head lights off before respraying
theres usually alot of hidden rust on the old girls.

so what is actually getting done to her while she's in the shop?

The hood front rim is bubbled with rust so im having the whole hood done , lower front wings by doors left and right. Rear archies as they have just started scabbing tailgate as she has a small botched colour mismatch and deep scratches, a very small dent by the rear number plate which he will pull out.All costing me £700, i mean yeah, i could pick up another cally for that but...better the devil you know i say This girls
