I for one will be putting pen to paper and asking for a refund the owners of the campsite should have cancelled the show before they did there was no way that the stands where going to take the weather that was forecast, there was an amber severe weather warning for the weekend but they said the stands would be ok if we only got the weather that was forecast (there words)

Sorry to hear you lost your tent mate. Ours was abandoned due to too the amount of water the floor had soaked up. I went into the check in/out information desk on the way out and asked if anything was being done about it, refunds etc but they reply I got was; "Billing cannot be held resposible for loss due to the weather and no refunds are being given but go to your club and/ or the VBOA to make a complaint." This made me angry and I too will be complaining by letter directly to Billing.

Was nice to see some of you again, hope everyone got home o.k, we left at around 4am and luckily my car didnt get stuck! Very dissapointing after years of attending, should have been cancelled/re-scheduled in advance in my opinion :-)

Cheers,

It is very sad to see another event hit by what seems this never ending rain. :( The event clashed with another I was going to. When that suffered cancellation I thought I would visit Billing after lunch time Sunday and even if I had to park elsewhere meet a few people, have a natter, etc. 8) I have now lost count of the number of events cancelled in the last six/seven weeks. Hopefully there will ultimately be some level of refund as Billing should acknowledge that people used both time/money to attend and their numerous car club events bring in a lot of extra PAYING visitors.
