Is there a way of putting the front bolt into the wishbone. Have spent the last 2 bloody hours trying to line the holes up to get the bolt through. Now loosing the will to keep the car

Thanks for the replies chaps, did the screw driver trick and it all lined up correctly but the bolt still wouldn't go in. took the wishbone back off and had a look and noticed on the new one the lip on the left hand side of the front was more raised than the old one. took a hack saw and trimmed a bit of the lip off so it was about the same hieight as the old one, refitted and the bloody thing went in first time, all those hours wasted :( . Still all back together and doing as it should. Also my vibration on breaking has disappeared as well, only drawback is i've pulled muscles i didn't know i had

It gets easier each time you do it... at least the nut didnt shear off and you didnt have to drill out your drivers footwell to repair it...

Already had to drill out the drivers footwell last time it was replaced as the captive nut thread had gone, so when i did it this time i had to take out the drivers seat, trim and carpet and sound deadening. I use an extra long screw with a new nut on top of the captive nut. I did post some pictures of my handiwork some time back :D
