well firstly you have to disconnect the throttle cable then undo all the nuts and bolts thats on the old inlet to get it off, then fitting the new one is the reverse of getting the old one off :mrgreen:

Ally.....................I'm shocked by your reply, you forgot to mention to remove the inlet hose and the electrical connectors and the breathers then not forgetting the gudgel pins ....you know it will go all wrong of you forget to take them off, remember the hassle when we broke one of the Gudgel pins

Well I've got parcel shelf to cover new rocker cover to paint and fit, and replace a fuel line as its developed a leak! On top of that it hasn't been washed since it got muddy at PV so a few late evenings for me.

to be honest i couldn't be arsed writing all that down, but your right you dont want to break one of they gudgel pins their nearly as important as the doppler effect switch on the sonar headlights :mrgreen:

i had the same problem with they damb gudgel
pins even on the ecotec,but i washed the car
and the problem is solved :dance:

if it got fixed with washing then your getting the Grudel pins confused with your Gudgel pins

i remeber going into the VX dealer and asking for 2 Grudel pins and even the parts manager got it wrong he gave me Gudgel pins, now what good are Gudgel pins when youv broke your Gudgel Pins i ask you

well oil and filter change done. the oil that came out was nice and black. and why do i always drop the sump plug in the basin :doh:
at least it was nice and warm :lol:

I normally drop the sump plug in as well which is annoying but not as much as when your glasses go in as well :lol:
