Tazz, i told my mate about your purchase today and he was gobsmacked.
Did you say you had original glass headlights on it? If so.........sit down.............he told me a set where on eBay last year for £500........EACH!!! And sold. That £40 is looking very good already mate.

hi andy mate yes it does still have the original glass headlights in it ,did you say to him that i jioned up with the dsg, i was scamming through ebay last night and i saw some of the prices for original parts and i was surprised infact that really doesnt cover it i saw an engine at 1,500i am really looking forward to this :D i am tazz666 on there aswell

He told me that if push came to shove and it's just too rotten, the body is identical to a viva hc estate. So what you've bought could be a rust repair panel etc 8)
I.e. the flat top wings and bonnet are the same too.

i read that there the same as the hc viva estate ,and i know that this has a lot of problems but if it gets to much i havent lost on it,by the sounds of things, :D

i have been looking at that one mate if the one that we are getting ends up like that i think it will be broken up and sold,but we will just have to see when it gets here

i dont want to break it mate i have all intension of working through it and get it back to the way it should as it is one of my childhood memories and the reason why i like vauxhalls but as far as i have been told it isnt that bad so it willl be rebuilt so im in it for the long haul,and it will be fun and i dont have to rush it as it isnt as though i need it as a runabout :D
