i have a another funeral on monday

as its a very sad time as last week tina's younger brother took his life who recently helped me redo my cooler and engine painting , it still hasnt sunk in as yet as it just seems very unreal .

He was a great guy who had a good character and a good sense of humour and he was like a lil brother to me over the 13/14 years ive been with tina .He loved his cars especially scoobys and he owned one of the 1.6 non turbo prototypes
after he had the vectra v6 in which was the year i won a place in the cc club calendar.

He will be sadly missed by all of us and we will never forget him and to honor him i will one of the palbearers ..

thanks guys , its not been our year so far with losing my uncle who also took his life at 57 , our 2 month old nephew who died of natural causes and his dad taking his life .

and last year my other uncle was killed in a state crash in florida and 6 years ago my other uncle getting killed in another lorrry incident.

well today was the big day and the cremation did turn out to be a lot better than a burial but it hit us today how much we really did get on great with him and i did him and the family proud by grabbing the middle of the coffin as we took him into the chamber, he had loads of subaru stickers and slogans slapped all across the coffin but the hardest thing was looking at it thinking that this was the last time our brother,son,husband and great brotherin law we got to see again but it was ok and a great turnout for the family.

even though it was a 3 hr drive (we got a lift from tinas dad ) the day went ok and we went for a few drinks at a neighbouring pub followed by a mcdonalds which we were staving as we hadnt eaten since 8am this morning and funeral was at 2.30pm and we got back at 8pm tonite so he had a great sendoff..

yeah i guess its the rebuilding of lives now but even still its very hard
