It must be the devils magic!!!! [Q Bond.]

two days ago my brother called as his van wouldnt start. He turned the key and had me listen over the phone and cos of the poor reception i thought the starter was sticking in. i told him to hit the starter motor then explained that it was the black round clindrical metal thing. i told him it would be on the gearbox at the back. anthony opened the bonnet and found a black cylindrical thing on the front and kicked it  he had kicked the top of the deisel filter and snapped off the plastick pipe so the van was well and truly stuck. i arrived with a rope and a mates van and got him back home for the night.

the next day we called around for this part and the cheapest quote was £70  for a bloody plastic cap with a few pipes going into it. then i remembered a Q bond display in our local panel factors.

I told him to take the gamble. £10 and it might fix it I told him.

so he returned with a tiny pot of powder for a tenner feeling pretty much robbed

but it worked :) to our amazement this little pot of powder and resin set within a second to something as strong as cast alloy and bonded perfectly.

i had a bit of a pull at it and a bend but it just wasnt going to break!

we fitted it up and started the engine and there wasnt a sign of weakness.

i'm just amazed by this stuff and had to share it as it could save you a fortune. saved my brother £60 the other day and we could of done ten jobs like that.

oh and ive shown anthony what a starter motor looks like  so hopefully he wont make that mistake again!
