How honest are you?

by bodgetastic » Mon Jul 12, 2010 5:51 pm

Few of you might have seen a previous thread I started about a laptop a few weeks ago, well I bit the bullet and bought one last weekend. Waited all week to be delivered and I arrived home on Friday only to find a package left on my door step. Thats right, a £1200 laptop which was sent insured and signed delivery left on my doorstep

I live in an fairly quiet village but think thats no excuse and wonder whether the currier had any idea what it was to leave it without getting a signature.

So am wondering whether my laptop has actually arrived yet

i work for a courier company and trust me that would have been signed out of the depot as a hihg value item so he would have known was a laptop he also has to sign any high value items back in if not delivered he would have had to have his machine signed too so my guess is he didnt want to come back today with it so signed it off himself it would have been sent by a large company like ups or dpd or similar you can find out who signed for it by contacting them and aslo put a complaiint in bout it but i would not say you havent recieved it as you never know who may be reading these forums ( including insurance companies to get out of paying out for non disclosed modifications)
