Flywheel

right, my engine is the later type with coilpack, is that any relevance as to what flywheel i have? Im just hunting around for my first upgrade buy at last

i basically want to know what flywheel i would have coz there was one on ebay earlier goin at a bargain price (in comparison to spanking new ones) and i cant get to the engine right now too see...

Im wantin to get a lightened one, but i will wait until i have the right bargain staring me in the face. I was recommended getting one by c4libr4 to get one as it was one of the best investments he had ever made!

just get the early one its lighter then the one you have

std pot is aprox 9.5kgs
std flat is aprox 6.5kgs

a flat type helix cover is 4.3kg's
a pot type helix cover is 4.4kg's

just copied and pasted from migweb, after a bit of hunting.

there is like 3 kg difference!

so if i changed to the flat type, i would have to change what else?

thats how they used to do it ...all be it with knowing what and where to drill the holes
