cranksensor where?

hi where is the the crankshaft sensor on a 2 litre 8 valvle c2one engine cheers

It should be located on the bottom left of the engine block as you look under the bonnet. E30 torx bolt holds it IIRC.

Also it could be an 8 or 10mm bolt, torx bolts were used on the later models.

Re reading the tech stuff, if you can't get it through the hole in the engine mounting, you will have to remove it or cut the old wires and re route the new sensor wiring somehow.
