ECU Swap (does this work?)

I was having a conversation with someone the other day and they suggested taking an ECU from a Vectra SRI 150 and replacing the Calibra Ecotec ECU with it. So that the Ecotec has the Vectra ECU Instead of the normal Calibra one. Has anyone done this or knows of anyone doing so.

what year is your calibra, as the ECU will have a different immobiliser code to yours and therefore will probably not work

SRI 150 is a 2.2 ..... no chance
