Thats the airbag cable to the steering wheel.

i think ill take half the dash out tomorrow and have a proper look and disconnect the battery,
a bit safer.

how do you tell if the wire will be there for the dials,ive had a quick look at the back of the engine to see if ive got a sender there but the engine is to big to see anything,

you need a different sender for the oil gauge. i'll have a look when i see you tomorrow mate.

i cant get my head down there to have a look.
i was told some redtops have them fitted as standard just plug and play.
