the loom inside the car?, that does not normally go wrong as its proteced from weathering being inside the car

so you maen loom for air-con, heater, lights etc?, not injection loom?

oh, well i guess you would simply need an air con version loom, i have not changed one but they should all be the same for air con models

engine cutting out will be injection loom!

if you have issues with heater, aircon, interiour/exterior lights etc then that is car loom

injection loom is pretty easy to change too!

It's more than a bit of work. It's practically insane to contemplate doing to a complete road car. I would strongly advise against doing it. Tracing it around and repairing any faults is going to be FAR the easier/quicker/cheaper etc etc job, no matter how hard it may seem to be.

If you want the answer to your question though, I would reccomend the vaux EPC catalogue to look up the loom part number of several models etc, but as bri says as long as its a similar spec then I don't see it will be different. hence the reason for having a seperate engine loom.

for the alarm removal you will only have cuts around the ignition barrel and the wires heading towards behind the radio section, and in the passenger footwell behind the glove box etc.. It really wouldn't be much trouble to have a good gandy over it all and ensure its all ok.

the loom has been completely gone over several times and lots, and lots of cuts repaired in places that we coulnd't even find a reason for having cuts in... including in the engine loom, there was a wire in the engine loom that wasn't even there at all (cant remember which now). so, its the engine loom i need then?
