Turbo timer?

Are these a good idea for cally?

I have one but not sure whether to fit it to the car or not and how difficult it is to fit?

Ne help would be nice and appreciatted.

Why bother, just let it tick over for 2 mins before turning the ignition off and save yourself £80 upwards for a worthwhile investment. Also if you have a multi lock gearstick lock like me its a bit pointless really.

The yellow thing in the picture below, locks the car in reverse gear to prevent it being stolen. You can't really have that on and the engine running!

I didn't say you did, just showing you a picture of one as you asked! I did say a turbo timer was an pretty much unecessary mod though [img]/wink.gif[/img]

They aren't needed on a LET. Reason being you have a water jacket around the shaft anyway which absorbs heat.

indeed just idle for 20 seconds or so when stopped and drive the last bit off boost, letting them run for mins at a time will do more harm than good.

not only that a lot of insurance companys dont like them
