You have 3 channels
one for total closure
one for 1" boot release
and on if you hold both bottom buttons together you get an output for as long as held

Ive got a toad alarm fitted to my car, R plate V6, but when i bourght the car, there was no paper work that came with relating to the alarm.

My insuracnce company want to know the exact system fitted, as apprantly just saying its a Toad wont do. Is there anyway of intentifying the model from just looking at the car.

If it helps the remoting locking fob has 4 buttons 2 big ones green and black which are used to open/lock the car and another 2 smaller buttons which i dont know what they do. There is a light by the side of the gearstick, which flashes green/amber.

Thanks

What does the siren look like is it a square and have a green front
as thay do a A201TC that has the same fob

Hi, I have a toad immobilizer on my car, and I’m going to fit a remote start alarm, (any tip much appreciated).
Where is the control box for the immobilizer usually hidden, and what does it immobilize and where, I can't see any cut wires around the fuse box? I need to temporally bye pass the immobilizer for the remote start to work. I know it cuts the supply to the ignition but can’t find any cut wires?

Ahhh Mr Toad... you might be just the man. I bought a TOAD Ai606 brand new and boxed form ebay some time ago and can't be arsed to fit it. I live near Oxford but my brother, who I visit quite often, lives in Wakefield. How much would you charge to fit the alarm/immob bearing in mind that there is an old CONLOG alarm/immob currently fitted. I should be up to Yorshire in a few weeks to pick up some Oxy-Acetylene gear from my brothers house.

ok now im well p1ssed. i rang a load of guys to try and get some sort of contact. eventually found someone who had dealt with these sigma alarms before. told me i couldnt even get these key fob replaced, so i bit the bullet and opened it up. need to replace 2 batteries in it, except the buggers hav soldered them in. so off i went searching for a new key fob again on the net and by chance i came across them. but they are 30 + vat + p&p to ireland and i cud do wit gettin a spare as both are fairly down on juice at the mo. question is would i get a good enuf new system for not much more than this? http://www.hickleyvaltone.com/diagnostics/...php?range=sigma
its the hvac18 type

or if someone else knows where i could get these cheaper or even a universal fob(that batteries can be changed on) that would be great.

1 more question, if i bought, say a new toad alarm, would it just be a simple matter of swapping the control boxes and away i go. this may be the easiest way around it if i could
