well i needed a new set of tyres for the cally and im drivin to the coast on fri so i needed em quick.
i ended up paying £240 fitted including balancing, tracking and all the other stuff for 4x nankang ns-2 205/40/17 and a free tracking test in 500miles time

i could hav bought the same tyres fore £172 on the net but they would take too long to get here, then i'd have to get them fitted. Does this sound like a lot?

my tyres were worse than i thought, especialy one coz i ran over a screw at the weekend

i got a set of the same tyres except 215/40/17 and it cost me 240.00 fitted balanced etc, thing is if you by them on the interent youve then got to have them fitted ect and it'll probly add up to roughly what you have paid!

you've not done bad cos when i wanted mine tracked they said id have to have the track rod ends replaced cos the nuts were seized in them and to looseen them up with heat would melt the plastic ends that are next to them.

No sounds about right..i've paid between 50 amd 55 pounds for the same tyres in Middlesbrough...suppose it depends where you live with a slight variation in price, even from one outlet to another..its sometimes worth it to get an price from one place and play them off against another tyre services, and ask if they can beat the price?..they often will..to get your business.
