Well well well... Im sure you're all wondering whats happened to this project as its stopped more times than a taxi driver around london at rush hour...

Unfortunately the better half had been made unemployed meaning I was funding our living as opposed to the car Now she has a new job I can start again

Now a lot of you will be pleased as I have been in contact with a vinyl supplier and got a great quote. They will hopefully be fitting the vinyls week after next

well in addition to my earlier post I thought Id go out and tidy up the garage as it was in a state...

I will be designing the spoiler stands later in order to get them laser cut.

well it seems that once I started I just couldn't stop! I have managed to get my spoiler stands designed ready for going out to quote. First off a wooden prototype...







And now a full on decided design



This is designed to look like the spoiler stands which the DTM car used. Will look nice powdercoated / painted in white

Well this is the update a lot of you have been waiting for...

today is vinyl day!

A 7am start (after staying up until 3am playing poker) was in order and the guys from the local sign writers turned up as promised... I will let the pictures tell the story here as there are a lot of them!

Well a couple of updates...

Interior light arrived yesterday so that was fitted...


Still need a centre console!


The bloke from the sign writers was back yesterday fixing the arch and it looks a lot better now

I think it needs the sunstrip in order to break up the front of the car and the proper "Baumlers" plates for shows.

My 7 year old newphew has had leukemia for a few years now and yesterday we found out it was terminal. I am going to get this finished so he can get to have a go in the time he has left.
