I think that it,s pretty much the same for most forums. Plus calibras are diminishing in numbers.

Good forums are as popular now as ever; however it is essential that the guys owning /running a forum type site have the time, inclination, technical and social skills to develop (evolve?) the site. If one or more of those key facets are missing, the forum withers.

Putting aside the evidence proffered by this sites atrocious front page with it's dead links, from reading a couple of recent 'How can we improve the site' type threads it is abundantly clear that currently some of those elements are missing.

Seems your social skills are still at the top of your agenda then !

Very nice of you to make it abundantly clear on how you feel about this place by attacking the site with your usual cheerful attitude !

A lot of people put a lot of time and effort into this place to keep it going, myself normally here 6/8 plus hours per day and i don't even own a Calibra anymore.

Over the years i've seen your belittling attitude on a few Vauxhall based forums and to be honest it's a bit boring now ................. So if that's how you feel about this place then two words ...

p**s off.

With a post count equalling 0.25 posts per day, you simply don't have the right to complain and criticise in that fashion. :naughty:
It seems you have the respect for others that would be better suited to an alternative calibra site.
As above, if you don't like the way things run here then you are welcome to leave.

yes the site could be a bit busier but why what we have at the moment are members who are sensible honest trustworthy and help everybody who needs it look at what some of the scottish guys get upto i would say its better to have a quiet site and decent knolegable members than a busy site full of muppets like another forum

as for kenny you do a great job as this site is far better ran than others im on and people seem to forget that the mods/admin maintain this site for others to use for free as in they do the work of running this place for f*ck all in there own spare time

yes it would be nice for the site to be busier but id rather have it as it is rather than full of muppets posting crap im the same as a few guys on here i dont have a calibra anymore but im still intersted in what goes on with the guys on here and what they do with there cars if i could afford to run 2 car i will have another calibra

keep up the good work guys

The thing I have found with both clubcalibra.org and opelaus.com is the cars aren't "new" cars

So most issues, problems and mods have been covered by someone along the years.

Most people are just jumping on, searching for what they need ie paper clip test

Then they are off again, without actually inputting into the forum.

With the launch of Opel next year in Australia (wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooooooo) I suspect a rather large influx on opelaus.com

However I fear the end may be nigh for the Calibra forums. It has now just become a place for the handful of dedicated members to post up what they are doing/have done.

And for the new forums to flog off there unwanted Calibra.

Just my 2c (yes we use cents here) from my side of the pond :)

Mods are coming along nicely
Suspension - Handles like a go-kart : Interior - I gots me leather : Exterior - HID's with angel eyes. I can see again : Bodykit - Done : Respray - Done : Stereo - Parts collected : Supercharger - Bring it on.
