Continuing the Se2 Turbo!
Continuing the Se2 Turbo!
Well i got the car about a month ago from V6Steve, and i am loving it!! Ive had some issues with the 4x4 and boosting problems but im very close to getting these sorted! Heres a couple of pics from today
Some nice white Wolfrace Pro Lites, really set the car off!!
And a nice powdercoated white rocker cover courtesy of Chavtastic, and some stainless rocker bolts, alongside the stainless afm to turbo hose i put on a while back! Also with my temp mod of the spring on the actuator stolen from my tractor at work
I am just waiting on my power boost valve coming now, should be here monday, need to 100% make sure im getting the right fuel pressure!!

Re: Continuing the Se2 Turbo!
yes unless you bodge the light to come on then go off again
Re: Continuing the Se2 Turbo!
or just turn the light off? why would the light need to come on if theres no airbag. Early calibras with no airbag... surely the light dosent come on?
Re: Continuing the Se2 Turbo!
but yours has one, when the mot man turns on your ignition it should come on then turn off after so many seconds its the same with your abs light

Re: Continuing the Se2 Turbo!
and they have a chart shown them what years of cars have a airbag and what the check light should do
Re: Continuing the Se2 Turbo!
I shall just keep hold of the steering wheel, an take the bulb out... 1 years time ill put the wheel back in if it fails... job done
Re: Continuing the Se2 Turbo!
thats what i would do, just remember when you put it back on youll need to reset the light

Yea, thats a vauxhall job aint it?
Re: Continuing the Se2 Turbo!
or if your handy with a soldering iron and your abs works solder the points for the airbag to the abs light
done this a few times to cover up abs problems by wiring the abs light to the airbag light
