Rear bumper bracket fixings?
Rear bumper bracket fixings?
I'm ordering some new rear bumper brackes, but also want some of the fixings as they look about foooooked too, and i can find the lower fixing part number but i cant find the top fixings at all!
Whate are they, bolts or nuts etc and does anyone have a part number please.
Going off this, i cant see them at all:

Two m 8 nuts hold the brackets on and a m6
nut and bolt hold the bumper on at the bottom
of the bracket
nut and bolt hold the bumper on at the bottom
of the bracket

Thanks craigy, yeah i have the part number for the lower M6 bolts, but the nuts you mentioned dont seem to be on there.
IIRC they are plastic nuts?

Just get 4 m8 nylock nuts from a motor factors
or hardware shop mate

IIRC they are hex head screws and go into speed clips

Thats not them Fraz, cheers though.
The diagram shows the two bolts that the top of the bracket fits onto, its nuts that i need, but what size etc?....i was sure they were plastic though?....i find it odd they are not listed?

as i said m8 nylok nuts do the top of the bracket and you are better of
with an m6 nut and bolt for the bottom as they clips are sh--te

Numbers 12 and 13 in the diagram, are the bumper brackets, and where they attatch to the bumper at the top of the bracket are two bolts on the bumper as shown, i need to know what size the nuts are.
I have just been out under the back end and i cant get a socket on em so have no idea what size they should be, and they appear to be shafted anyway so will need cutting off to replace...they are deffo metal nuts though.

m 8 is the metric size of the nut mate

So the M8 nuts are 13mm are they, just the ones on the car look bigger than 13mm?
I dont really understand the nut and bolt sizing system?
