its getting to a ridiculous stage now really. basically the matter was over and done with weeks ago on here. everybody expressed their views and let it go.

but now Dan White has flung another log on the fire and gave it a poke with his big media stick by printing it in TV. he knows theres plenty of members on here who read TV and he knew exactly the sort of reaction he was going to get.

basically the guys being a f***ing knob, he's provoked an online argument in where he looks the victim. at the end of the day V6 Steve we as .net members know the time, money, late nights, blood, sweat and tears you've put into "The Drain".

he's trying to bring you and the club down by using an underhand trick and printing his own views in a magazine that he edits.

and people can "express" there feelings about his attitude and his behavior in person

i wasnt going to post this up but feel that you all should have the chance to read it as it effects us all now, this is the private messages he sent me last night, I dont realy care about The "Drain" getting a feature i get to look at it and drive it or crush it as its mine, but he has no right to **** of this site or delete posts that dot suit him, and .com has shown how petty they are by commenting

Steve - if the bickering continues I'll tidy up the post. It does neither of us any favours, and will make you appear like a spoilt kid, which you wanted to avoid.

As an Editor of magazine it's my job, and my choice what to put in the magazine. I can't feature everyone's cars, and we turn down many more than we feature. I've stated my reasons and don't see the need to keep explaining myself.

Without getting into a pointless **** for tat row about the Chairman's Cup - the VBOA has no connection with TV at all. It's voted on by some (not all) of the show goers, but it's still good to win it, and you're right to be as proud as you are. But winning it isn't some automatic guarantee of a feature.

i asked for a feature a while ago for my fully restored mk2 gte 8v and was told it was "too standard" aside from uprated brakes set of speedlines and an ashley exhaust major head work full uprated suspension billy b4's with spax springs etc f16 box but hey ho its still standard according to some
