I just hold the camera out the window and take pictures, seems to work fine for me....though the other lot seemed to think I was trying to fling a camera at them

thats ok for stills but driving one handed at 100mph down small (private roads) it might end in disaster

got the camera bracket this morning it does have 1 or 2 draw backs

You could film it upside down then flip the footage 180degrees in windoze movie maker.

Get some plastic tubing or conduit, two U bolts, 4 wingnuts, a 1/4 whitworth bolt.

Put the tubing on the seat backs, file a groove into the tubing where the inner headrest post is, then drill holes so that you can fit the U bolts. That should clamp the tube across the seat backs. The wingnuts will aid removal without the need for tools.

Then drill a vertical hole in the tube in the centre of the two seats for your 1/4 whitworth bolt to fit the camera.

Tadaaaa.... Bob's your dads brother.
