My New Calibra

by calibre ray » Sat Sep 25, 2010 8:59 pm

After selling my se9 just under a fortnight ago i had to have another. A few of you might know that i have always wanted an se2, so when the chance of one came up i went to see it along with v6 steve at the start of the week. So last night i bit the bullet and went to collect her. it needs a few bits done on the body, the bottom of the n/s wing, under the badge on the bonnet and the bumper but not to urgent. So gave it a good steam clean today under all the arches and under the bonnet and after all the crap was off it was shining nice and yellow.
Then i got out the g3 and the buff and set about i for most of the day, i still have to give it a g10 and then a good wax and it should be looking pretty good.

iv just started work on mine again, after 2 years of owning her. been sat on my mate drive while iv been collecting the parts for her. just doing some touching up and then up to the MOT station for me, i just love the drive of the calibra, but my SE2 beats my misses calibra hands down !

i took the car for mot last night and it went pretty well. It needs the usual fuel lines front to back and two brake pipes front to back and thats all so im pretty happy with that. i took some pics whilst it was on the ramp.
