right guys, few more updates today.

As im moving house soon ive needed to get the wheels back on the front ready for trailering to my new garage :)

Of course with no driveshafts in, putting the wheels back on will knacker the wheel bearings.

Image

Tada! Very short drive shafts ;)

Image

Put in...

Image

back on its wheels finally! The front is rather high with no engine in it :D

With a bit of spare time I thought id get a start on cleaning out the engine bay which was a little dirty.
Image

With some ******* in hand i went at it
Image

And with some panel wipe i finished it off...

Image

Much better!

Whilst i was at it i thought id change the gearstick over.

5 speed stick (now up for sale if anybody wants it ;) )

Image

removed for a 6 speed stick...
Image

I've had some designs done for the decals too so i've needed some proper measurements for the kit, so i stuck it on with some masking tape so i could do them.

Image

Image

Image

And thats all i've done for the time being, hopefully i should have more done soon :)

well not too many people interested but i shall carry on nethertheless.

Well with the move fairly imminent ive been mostly getting stuff ready to move rather than working on the car :(

I have got a few bits sorted today though so ill share :)

First off i got a knock at the door and a big box i wasn't expecting...

Image

Wonder what that could be... :p

Image

My new gold zinc coated brake discs :) Looking all nice and new!

No time to put them on before i move unfortuantely so i thought id get my throttle cable installed...

What a ballache of a job that is! Its like threading a donkey through the eye of a needle...

Well one rat tail from inside the car...
Image

And a whole half hour later (with much swearing and cursing)...
Image

It was finally in!

I quickly took the bump strips off the new bumper so i can transfer them over to the old one..
Image

And that was about it :)

Now im off to tidy up and sort more stuff out for moving!

Before i go does anybody know what this is infront of the horn? Its the only lead i havent labelled which leads me to believe it wasn't plugged in in the first place...
Image

Oh and heres a sneak peak of the preliminary designs of the decals...
Image

More soon ;)

cheers for the comments folks, the hope is to get it finished for billing but it will be very tight if it is actually done by then.

If not it will be taken to all the shows next year :)

NoT keen on the decals, the yellow flash would be best on it's own I think.
