Handbrake not staying up
Well it does sometimes but mostly it falls down if I shut the door little harder, or while I'm still in the car - as teeth are worn - I can hear them when Im pulling it up and it seems to hold better if I pull it towards passenger side (LHD) then drivers or straight up. When it goes down you can hear teeth - but it goes down really quick not teeth by teeth.
I am going to take off center column tomorow and try to fix it - thinking it may be metal around teeth got expanded (loose) during time and it just needs pushing it back together... hope I wont have to change whole handbrake handle mechanism...
If anyone had similar problem and has any suggestions I would be grateful for any advice before I start taking it apart.

Yes but 200k of those could've been up and down a motorway.
The rachet part of the handbrake lever is what will hold it. Worn lever is most probable cause.
I used to own this Calibra...
I now own this one.

Never had this problem - I listened to my driving instructor!
And the Corsa "D" handbook tells you not to press the button in
