Sunroof Switch wireing

can anyone help me out here?

i want to move the sunroof switch to another area in the car and i have another sunroof switch from another car, would this be possible? what wire goes on which bit? has anyone done this before?


here is a pic of them.....

if someone can tell me where each wire goes for the new switch (Black one) it would be great help!!!

that mean nout to me!!! not good with auto electrics hence i ask on here....lol

Well it shouldnt be too hard to sort out.
The switch will feed + and - to the motor in two ways, so the motor will run in forwards and backwards.
So looking at the new switch i would say red is + (black from your calibra ), green your - (brown on calibra)and the blue, unsure about that one maybe a switched live feed from ignition.

Be warned that the calibra diagram i have is an early model
Might help if you can tell us what car the new switch came from.

I dont think anyone has moved the switch, i know someone made a total closure kit, he would have a good knowledge of the sunroof wiring.

i cant remember waht car it came from as i got a few from different cars in the scrappy!....lol

anyone know for sure ie can the draw what wire goes where on the pic i provided!

dont wanna blow any fuses or even the sunroof motor! :-)

without knowing what car it came from, the only way is to test it with a meter
