Indicator / Hazzards come on but dont flash

by Star_Silver_XE » Sun Feb 26, 2006 11:35 pm

Hi Guys,

I just recently purchased a cally and I had to change the battery. I now have a problem with the hazzard and indicator lights. They come on but do not flash. I've checked the fuses and they seem fine. I've been told to check the relay but I'm not sure which relay it is, Can anyone help?

Hi and welcome

Here's a list of fuses and relays to get you started with your problem -

Thanks, this should help. If it is the relay are they expensive to replace?

Check the hazard switch itself as well.

Put your hazard's on then pull on the switch. You should feel a 'click' then turn them off and try the indicators.

If that cures it then your switch is going kaput......
I used to own this Calibra...

Had the same problem a couple of weeks ago.Narrowed the problem down to the hazard warning switch or the relay. Cause I was going into work I took the battery cables off to stop the battery running down. Checked ebay and found both for only a few quid but when I went back to the car it had sorted itself out
