Having Smacked A Kerb, I Have Destroyed My Alloy Wheel Purely Because Of Fitting Flush Fit Valves, Don,t Fit These Crappy Items!!!

i take it your tyre went flat?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> think about it ...... low profile rubber and a metal valve poking inwards, hit kerb (at speed) tyre compresses pushes against valve which bends the mounting point , now have raised stress cracks where the valve is fitted. yes tyre is now flat as the air escaped through cracks in alloy ,tyre is perfect. trust me and ditch them!

Well I would think that since you're not the only person with them (BBS rims usually have them as standard) that there is only a slight chance this will happen. It's a fair point, but if you're careful there is no reason not to have them.
