Bonnet Extension

Anyone got any tips/advice when it comes to fitting the bonnet extension, looks pretty simple, is it best to use the supplied screws or is there a better option?

I had one welded one.

The fibreglass one I purchased seemed very flimsy, and when test fitted we almost broke it.

Can get the angle you want exactly too ;)

I've got a bonded fibreglass one, I think the body shop used some rivets + glue for bonding windscreens - seems solid enough. So far no cracks at all, but be ready to get your fingers streched, as the bonnet catch is a real nightmare to reach!

YEah found that out today when i did a temporary fit, think ill go down the bonding route, the screws supplied aren't man enough and anything longer will be coming through the other side of the bonnet....

Mine looks like its fiber glassed on the underside for extra strength....depend s how often the bonnets opened and closed (and who's doing it!)...as to how long you go without having to repair and spray again!...I can see mine going now...but should look ok for a year or so before I consider doing anything with it again.
