right got a small prob i now have these wheels on my car but it just dont handle right.ie it wanders and steering wheel seams to be really light?and i was thinking the traking mite need ajusting.?they are team dynamics rim width 7.5j and are 17in the offset is 38

its cos if the offset is wrong. you have altered the geometry of the steering to much. i noticed it on cornishtaz's car. it felt the same as you described and that was 38 offset.

Put some normal sized wheels back on, or continue to think you know better than Vauxhall engineers [img]/wink.gif[/img]

Or just get some wheels with a closer to 49 offset.

I've explained before why I have 17" wheels. It's because of the brakes I am going to be running! I have no choice.

stick out of the arches. dont buy them for a calibra. you will have major issues espescially if lowered.

I've got them on the car now and they seem fine - the fronts are close to the edge of the arch and the rears sit nicely... it's not lowered yet but it doesn't look as if there'd be any problems...

cornishtaz has problems with catching on 42mm offset (et 42) and its lowered.
