Vibration

by Robs-se » Tue Jul 18, 2006 10:48 pm

To cure my wheel wobble i have had he front wheels balanced and the tracking done. that department is now fine. the problem i now get is a vibration through the floor when the car goes over 70. more noticable on motorways.
The car is on 17's lowered 40 on gmax rear shocks and what looks like standard on the front. the car when it goes over bumps and things seems very bouncy although the bounce test is normal.

Is it normal for this vibration to happen on lowered cars or do i need to sort out the suspension

I would double check the condition of your tyres, i had one deform recently, which caused a wobble through the whole car. It wasn't totally obvious until the wheel was removed and properly looked at by my garage.
