cannot remove rear spring!

Any issues relating to suspension, steering and brakes.

cannot remove rear spring!

Cannot get the spring to come out, got a tool to compress it but it is not enough, how do you get it out?
Also this is my new spring, which is the top, A or B?

You just need to jack the car up and take the spring out. You shouldn't need to use the compressers.

ah I think I need to unscrew something else, should come come out after that.
what about the new spring?

Can't remember from when I did mine but I think "A" goes to the top.

you put it on with the wording on spring facing the correct way

got the spring out.
Will put A top
Where do these powerflex bump stop go?
Within the spring at the bottom?

well I just finished, 3 hours but, not lowered at all.......( should be -35 ). is it a matter of waiting until they settle in?

erm.. no.. they're possibly the wrong springs, or more likely the car was already lowered.

thing is the last coil internal diameter is much bigges than the rubber seating on the arm, I mean the spring could be pulled or pushed left to right

think u r right, they must have sent the wrong F******* springs, called them up and tomorrow will have a chat with a technician......Need my car tonight, well pi**** off

Do a photo of the rear as its sitting.. its easy enough for us to see if its std or -35

This is my original spring. the diameter indicated is 40mm, the new is a lot bigger and would move around the seating on the lower arm. The new is the red one posted at the beginning, the last three coils touch each other when the car is off the jack.

bought the kit from europerformance, they sent 4 yellow koni shocks and these red swedish springs, on the box they are marked as "LESJOFORS" ( <a href="http://www.lesjoforsab.com/default.asp" target="_blank">http://www.lesjoforsab.com/default.asp</a> )

Have not measured the coils b4 slapping them on but they look bigger

is there any part numbers or markings on the springs...have heard of them before , not to bad a spring IIRC
