KW Coilover Suspension

I'd like to buy a kit KW for my Calibra turbo restyling (year 1995), but I don't understand what is the right model....
There are 4 different codes, and this is write on KW website:

I can't find these number on my (old) EPC

Can anyone help me ?

I thought the strut diameter didn't change.

Thought the struts were the same for Astra/Cavalier/Calibra and it was only the hubs that changed for the turbo's and V6's.

Unless they started using Vectra bits on the 95/96 onwards cars??

I reckon the best thing to do is email them and ask. As above I didn't think there were any differences. Those coilovers sound a good price. Would be interested to see how good they are.

So there is a difference betwen Calibra version???

So basically KW have different part no's for left and right hand struts, for cars with or without ABS to fit three different sizes of wheel bearing.

I'd check, using your chassis number, with your EPC (if it'll do it) or with a main dealer what size wheel bearings you have.

I'd assume they would be 74mm because it's a late Turbo, but you'd have to check to be absolutely sure!!!!

thought they were only around £600, bout 900 euros. thats what i seen in an advert in TV.may be wrong though

I would imagine you can break down their number system like this

1,3 FKOP774

side (left or right):- 1

No ABS :- 3

part no:- FKOP774


But thats only me guessing how to interpret it........

I have check on EPC with my chassis number and I found 74mm bearing (90510542).
So the FK kit are a bit more easy to find.

But where KW keep these part numbers is a mystery, they do not exist on epc

At least you now have a fighting chance of ordering the right ones!!!!

Might be worth e-mailing KW with your car spec and what bit's you want??!!!
