John,

I'm the same mate, junior hacksaw is the only way i think!!!

when you get em off plenty of sandpaper and a bit of grease to slide them on easy enough!

My junior hacksaw only got me about half-way through, had to attack it with a full-size one and give it plenty of effort.
Good luck!

hacksaw two parallel lines get a big flat blade screw driver open it up comes off nicely then use some silicone grease and slide them on if tight fit use a large socket and tap it on gently

That's what I plan on using.... I gotta do mine soon. Have the parts already, but it's just a matter of getting of my lazy *** and doing it.

I'm sure the clunking noise will get on my nerves soon enough.

Yeah, Like ealex said, just burn them. DOn't forget to cover brake pipes all that with metal sheet or something to protect.

What yr calibra do you have? the later ones are diff to the early type.

Early ones, you have to cut them off.
Later ones, its the whole eye bolt you replace and its very very easy.

Cheers

there are a lot of helpful people on this site but please refrain from using text speak because it's bloody annoying and takes twice as long to read.

Done one of mine the other day in 30 mins (old type). Hacksaw right through it, smack a flat bladed screwdriver in the gap you have just made and lift the edges. It should now slide off, spray a bit of WD40 on the arm and get the new one into position (use another jack). Line up a bit off wood onto the face of the drop link and smack it with a hammer:icon_mrgr

No problems.
