power steering problem

heya boys damn, havent been on here for ages...seems like i get on here every time i have a problem...which in some sence is good then,,,nehwows...

problem that i got tonite is that the power steering went bust on me...now...there was no sound no nothing...it just died...
i checked the fluid level, stoped on petrol station and bought new one, just topped the levels up, but still its the same...

would neone have ne ideas wat could have gone wrong...its 91 red top c20xe calibra

Is the fluid leaking away? If not then it sounds like the steering rack has gone. Time for a new one;)

Is the battery light on?
Has the drive belt snapped?
