5 Stud Conversion

by LE16 » Tue May 17, 2005 7:12 pm

Hi,

Anyone done a five stud conversion? Im doing it to my SE5 and need to know how the rear hubs will be set up. The problem is the donor car (my LE 4x4) has the abs teeth on the inner cv joints and they need to be on the outside as on the SE5. I'm not transplanting that heavy diff just for poxy abs to work but am wondering if once the outer joint is removed off the 4x4 hub, will I be able to fit the abs teeth from the se5. The sensor is mounted on the caliper on the SE5.

Any Idea's?

Cheers

You could use the rear hubs from a V6.

Thats another idea, but i dont fancy buying them new. I'll look at that if it needs to be done once I have got them apart and in my hands.
