Rear Brake rattle

by kdchorse2 » Tue May 13, 2008 9:41 pm

Has anyone had rear brake rattle that sounded like someone beating a tin can with a spanner... and what is the cure?
.. only happens going over driver side bumps and stops with light brake pressure ( starting to feel relieved in the wallet as I thought it was the shock... and I have already removed the heat shields).

Thanks in advance!

Have you checked the antirattle springs on the rear pads,

mine were missing, had rusted away, it sounded like something serious was wrong, rattles all the time over bumps etc, loud clicks/clunk when braking
