hi ya peeps been away a while enjoying the weather
right my new problem
i havent got round to replacing me warped discs yet but i dont think this would be it (till told otherwise)
it seems me handbrake is sticking you let it down and clutch it forward and you can feel the brakes sticking and at slow speed you can hear the most annoying squeek. can i adjust the handbrake and if so how do i do that? cheers peoples

it sounds as though the handbrake shoe retaining pin has popped off ,
the rear brake shield on calibra's are bad for rusting around the pin holes
have a try at that mate

if it's not that it will be the lever in the backplate that has rusted and will need freeing off, either way you'll have to take the rear drums off

thats what i thought it might be so last week when i got me tyres and tracking blah blah blah i got them to check the handbrake clean it up etc
mr man says it was fine
could it have something to do with the front discs being warped?

get someone to stand by the car when you're pulling away and get them to identify where the noise is coming from, I had knackered brakes all round and got a horrible noise from the front when driving slow, new discs and pads all round and its fine...

The back plate will be a bit of a pain becuase you're need to take all the ABS apart IIRC...

Try Autovaux they supplied me with all the rear discs/pads/shoe etc... and was pretty cheap compared to other places...
