DOH!!!! Brake help

Any issues relating to suspension, steering and brakes.

hay guys some of you might remember me talking bout getting those dirlld and groovd disks of ebay! which i did and 2day i decided to change my disks so heres the problemwhile taking off the N/S front calliper i managed to snap the tow bolts off into the caliper carryer! doh!! maaged to get everything off but now im left with a calpier carryer with 2 small pices of bolts in it and less 2 x caliper bolts!

basically dus any 1 know the best place 2 sorce these bolts and the caliper carryer?? im not fussy second hand or new!!

any help would be apriciated!! :banghead:

p.s oh its a 92 kreg turbo so thats the slightly smaller disk size so dont know if that matters?

Can you not drill out the broken bolt bits carefully and then buy 2 new bolts from Vaux ?

na i would just **** it trying to drill it out! and i stay on a wee island off scotland so the nearest scrap yard is bout 200miles away!!!

I think these are "stretch bolts" or something like that. This might be why they're supposed to be replaced with new ones each time :excl:

Perhaps you could find someone with a bolt extractor - you drill a pilot hole in the broken bolt and drive the exctactor into it.
