Firstly welcome to the site :)

Now to business

If you want to get decent power from a V6, then a 3.0 swop is a must to start with. This has been covered many times by myself, thecrow, dicky, bad3r v6, and chrisH.

To swop to a 3.0 you will need some parts from the 2.5. They are
the sump and oil pickup pipe
dipstick tube
exhaust manifolds
starter motor and alternator
fuel injector housing
plenum chamber and traction control motor
throttle body

Standard gaskets will be fine, but remember you will need 2.5 inlet gaskets

After putting that lot on the 3.0, it's just a case of putting it all back under the bonnet.

To fit a 6spd F28 gearbox, you will need
F28 gearbox and mounts
F28 gear linkage
turbo flywheel (preferably a lightened one)
turbo clutch (full kit)
OSF engine mount spacer

I did a guide on fitting an F28 to a sixer. It's on here somewhere..

Another option on the F28 is to fit a limited slip diff to help with traction.

That just about covers most things (clicky my sig B) )
I used to own this Calibra...
I now own this one.
