Steering rack which one???

Hi,

Got 16v redtop 1993. Need a new steering rack but a bit confused into which one to get. I have a ZF one standard in there at the moment. Just need to know what type it is as iv seen many different ones for the car. Looking for a direct replacement. If anyone can help with like a model number or something it would be great or if not just what its called to identify the corect matching one.

ZF racks arn't that great as they get older, you're better off with a GM one. If you're getting a recon rather than one out a scrappy then they should be able to advise. else do a search, the ZF/GM rack question has been posted a few times, and i think the part numbers are inluded for the gm one in at least a couple of those posts.
