Will the suspension struts and springs from a Redtop fit an Ecotec?

try pm'n davefly, dave storey, he always has the part numbers as he works for vaux.

i recently got a strut for a 97 for my redtop and when i fitted it the top of the wheel was about an inch outside the wheel arch. the wheel was posted from a breakers who said it will fit so i dont know if it was bent in a crash but either way im gona have to swap all the parts back to my original strut as i know that fits.

im putting the entire V6 suspension/brakes/hubs, everything except wishbones into my ecotec. my mechanic said it's a simple straightforward swap so it must be the same for all of them

thought the hubs are 5 stud on the v6s and 4 stud on the ecos? (or is that jsut the turbos?)

yeah, V6s have 5 studs too.
i want the 5 stud conversion. and i also want the bigger brakes. and i want the stiffer front anti-roll bar and springs as im also swapping the engines, heh [img]/smile.gif[/img] this is why i'm swapping entire legs as i have a complete donor car available.
